Made in traditional South African style.
A dark, rich, sticky, sweet & savory barbecue sauce made with (real!) Jack Daniels bourbon. Fabulous with ribs, chicken, pork & steak and use any method of cooking like frying, grilling or braai-ing (barbecuing).
Cook the meat until almost done, remove desired amount of sauce from jar and baste the meat with the sauce. Continue to cook over an indirect fire or in the oven at 160-180degC for 10-15 minutes till the sauce is bubbling and has coloured slightly. Remove the meat from the heat, baste with more sauce & serve immediately - no need to cook further.
For best results, the sauce must be consumed within 3 months of purchase if unopened. Once the jar is opened, store in refrigerator and consume within 1 month.
