Treat yourself to an age-old family tradition with these original creamy, buttermilk rusks. Dunking into tea or coffee releases the flavours and textures making these double-baked rusks a great on-the-go breakfast or teatime snack.
For best results, store in an airtight container and consume within 3 months (if they last that long!). If, by accident, you leave the rusks out and they go soft, place them into a very low oven 50degC with the door open for around 2-4 hours. Remove, leave to cool and put them in an airtight container. Your rusks will be as good as new and ready for dunking again.
Each rusk is approximately 30gr and ideal as a mid-meal snack of 130kcal. There are around 6 rusks per 180gr bag.
