Made in traditional South African style.
Treat yourself to an age-old family tradition with these crunchy, buttery oat-filled cookies. Similar in taste to flapjacks, but with a definite difference in texture - this crunchy cookie is dunkable as well as being a great tea-time treat. They can also be crumbled over ice-cream for a yummy dessert or crushed and mixed with butter as a base for tarts.
For best results, store in an airtight container and consume within 3 months (if they last that long!). If, by accident, you leave the cookies out and they go soft, place them into a very low oven 50degC with the door open for around 2 hours. Remove, leave to cool and put them in an airtight container. Your cookies will be as good as new and ready for dunking again.
Each cookie is approximately 30gr and around 150kcal each. There are around 6 cookies per 180gr bag.
