Made in traditional South African style.
Our droewors is made with quality assured, aged beef purchased from a local supplier. We use only hand-cut quality beef and never use scraps, imported or low quality meat. We ensure that we source only British, traceable and quality assured meat giving us a tender, flavourful raw product even before we start to make the biltong.
All whole spices, purchased locally & freshly prepared for each individual batch, are ground & blended by ourselves to a traditional, family recipe. The droewors are thin, air-dried sausages cured and flavoured with coriander, black pepper, spices & salt.
For best results, store in a cool, dry environment and consume within 1 week. The longer the droewors are kept in a dry environment, the drier they will become and the spices and salt will become stronger.
